Virgin Media Booster Setup
In the WiFi booster package content, you will find two networking device, in which, one is small in size and other one is large. There is an Ethernet cable and user manual in the package.
Connect Small Booster
- The small booster will connect to the hub with the help of the Ethernet cable.
- Connect the cable to the extender’s Ethernet port.
- The other end will connect with the hub LAN port.
- Then, plug the extender in the power wall socket and turn it on
Connect Large Booster
- Now, you have to connect the other booster (larger one) to the power outlet.
- Then, press and hold the Sync button on the side of the device for about 10 seconds.
- You have to press and hold the WPS button on the Virgin Media hub which is connected to the internet.
- By connecting the hub to the booster wirelessly all the data and profile will starts to copy in the booster.
- Now, you can plug the larger booster to any other Power outlet in your home and start the configuration process.
Configure WiFi Booster

- Connect the phone to the Virgin media network.
- Go in to the Play Store or App Store in your phone.
- Search and download the Virgin Media Connect app in your phone.

Find Best Spot for Booster
The best spot for any networking device is optimal location in your home. The optimal location is far from the electronic devices like microphones and microwave ovens.
Unplug and Plug Booster
If your booster is not working then you can use the reboot process to dispel the problem. To do that, you have to unplug the booster from the power outlet and plug it again to turn it on.
Check Cable Conditions
The Ethernet cable connected to the small booster to connect the hub should be connected correctly in the hub LAN port. Also, check if the cable is not damaged and there are no cuts on it.
Don’t Press WiFi Button to Connect
The WiFi button on the Virgin booster is for On/Off power. You can’t connect the hub to the booster via WiFi button. The Sync button is there for connection.
Factory Reset WiFi Booster
To solve any big problem related to the connection or not working issue, you can reset the booster. To reset, just press and hold the Reset button about 7 seconds and release it.
After that you have to set the Virgin media booster up again.
