Disable Virgin Media Modem Mode
For the connection, you have to disable the modem mode and link the AP device to the Virgin media router. You have to access the Virgin router settings.
- Connect the computer with the Virgin media hub networkvia cable or WiFi.
- Open the browser and search the default IP address 192.168.0.1.
- You will reach to interface login page, where you can access the settings using admin credentials.
- In the Virgin media settings, click on the MODEM MODE option and disable it.
Now, the hub is working as the router and you can try to connect the UniFi AP device to hub 5 again.
Check for Any Cable Damage
One other reason why you are facing problem is cable damage (Ethernet), so you must check the cables. If you find any then,replacing the cable is best option.
If any solution and tip is not working then you must reset the devices (both), then set the hub 5 again through the Virgin router login interface and try connecting again.
